I am a level 2 running coach and Ultra runner. I am founder of PairUps, co founder of The Green Runners and co lead of Plastic Free Seaford.

With my team of amazing volunteers we organise The Rathfinny Run which is a carbon focussed running event around a B Corp vineyard in East Sussex as well as Sussex’ first Backyard Ultra called The Longbridge 100 (Winter and Summer)
We now trial running events on the Webscorer platform and App.

The running events that we organise are focussed on reducing the carbon footprint and to be eco friendly. In 2022 Runners World recommended us as a race to enter due to our greener credentials.

Hi, my name is Kirsty, I have been lead Marshall for Darren for a number of years. My dad co founded Seaford Striders, a local running club, and as a family we would spend weekends going to running events, myself as the cheerleader to my mum, dad and brother! I’m a HR Manager Monday to Friday and heavily involved with the sustainability
Hi, my name is Kirsty, I have been lead Marshall for Darren for a number of years. My dad co founded Seaford Striders, a local running club, and as a family we would spend weekends going to running events, myself as the cheerleader to my mum, dad and brother! I’m a HR Manager Monday to Friday and heavily involved with the sustainability group in my work life, but at the weekends I love to be outdoors! Darren’s passion for the environment is inspiring and the ethos behind 3wordruns struck a harmonious blend of family, the outdoors and helping the environment all with purpose and a dash of sentimentality!

I am really grateful to have this opportunity to be part of 3WordRuns.
I met Darren through Wolo (We only live once) Darren is the running ambassador, and I am a trustee and look after Wellbeing at Wolo. We both have a passion for living our lives as well as we can.
Running has not been a big part of my life or my background but recently,

Running has not been a big part of my life or my background but recently, it has played a part in my life in a very positive way, I too believe that we can live well and exercise without having such a detrimental impact on the environment, this is one of the reasons why I believe in 3WordRuns races so much, so to be part of the team feels like a real honour and I can’t wait to get stuck in to the exciting local upcoming events and be part of this special community.

It encourages race organizers to implement policies that promote equal opportunities, including fair prize structures, appropriate facilities, safety measures, and consideration for factors such as pregnancy deferrals and menstrual health.
By earning She Races accreditation, both The Rathfinny Run and The Longbridge 100 uphold these values, ensuring that all runners feel welcome and supported on race day. We are proud to have a higher than average female runner participation in our races, especially The Rathfinny Run.
